Every keyboard on KeebFinder receives scores from 0–100 across five categories. Scores are derived from specifications, features, price-tier comparison, and community popularity — so a budget board can score highly if it delivers great value relative to its price bracket.
The number shown on product cards is a weighted combination of four categories plus a popularity bonus of up to +8 points. Portability is excluded from the overall score since it depends entirely on use case.
Construction quality and premium materials — aluminum cases, gasket mounts, screw-in stabilizers.
How much you can modify and personalize — DIY kits, hot-swap, programmable firmware, RGB.
Suitability for work and long typing sessions — ergonomic layouts, sound dampening, compatibility.
Gaming and competitive features — high polling rates, rapid trigger, Hall effect switches.
Travel-friendliness — compact form factors, wireless connectivity, battery life. Shown separately since portability needs are highly personal.
