Hi there! I'm Patrick Hallek, the person who built KeebFinder. I'm a software engineer, so I use my keyboard a lot. I got really interested in mechanical keyboards thanks to the r/MechanicalKeyboards subreddit. As I learned more, I noticed it could be tough for beginners to figure out all the different options and technical details.
KeebFinder was born out of this need for simplicity. As a beginner, I created a script to quickly categorize products from different vendors. What started as a personal project soon caught the attention of fellow enthusiasts on Reddit. Encouraged by their interest, I developed a simple website and have been iteratively improving it ever since. Here you can take a look at the very first version of KeebFinder:
I build a website for filtering, searching and sorting (prebuild) keyboards to fit your needs with side by side comparison!
