Hi, I'm Patrick Hallek, a software engineer and the creator of KeebFinder. As someone who types all day, I became interested in mechanical keyboards and discovered the r/MechanicalKeyboards community. But as a beginner, I found the hobby overwhelming. There are so many vendors, each with their own website, and no easy way to search or compare products across them. Looking for a keyboard with a specific layout, switch type, or price range meant opening dozens of tabs and manually checking each store. I figured there had to be a better way, so I started building KeebFinder.

KeebFinder began as a personal script to scrape and categorize products from different vendors so I could compare them more easily. I shared an early version on Reddit and the response was much bigger than I expected. That encouraged me to turn it into a proper website, and I've been improving it based on community feedback ever since.
I build a website for filtering, searching and sorting (prebuild) keyboards to fit your needs with side by side comparison!

KeebFinder aggregates products from over 40 vendors into one searchable platform. Whether you're looking for a specific switch type, comparing keycap profiles, or just browsing, everything is in one place. My goal is to make this the most useful resource for finding mechanical keyboard products.
