Delux RTS1

The Delux RTS1 One Hand is a compact, 34-key keyboard designed primarily for gamers who want to maximize mouse space and reduce hand movement. Its one-handed layout suits users focused on fast, precise input in gaming scenarios, especially esports. The keyboard offers customizable keys and rapid response features but may be less suitable for general typing or users needing a full keyboard layout.

Key Features

• Ultra-compact design frees up desk space, allowing greater mouse movement and quicker access to essential keys with one hand.
• Esports-grade magnetic switches provide adjustable trigger points (0.1 to 4.0mm) for tailored input sensitivity and faster key actuation.
• Hot-swappable sockets enable easy switch replacement without soldering, supporting customization and maintenance.
• 8K polling rate reduces input lag to 0.125ms, improving responsiveness compared to standard gaming keyboards.
• Integrated palm rest offers comfort during extended use, reducing hand fatigue.
• RGB backlighting enhances visibility and can be customized via a web-based driver without software installation.
• Web-based driver allows macro programming, trigger adjustments, and key remapping through a browser interface.

Typing Experience

The magnetic switches deliver a fast, tactile response suited for gaming commands and combos. Adjustable trigger points let users fine-tune key sensitivity. The keyboard’s compact layout and palm rest support quick access and comfort but may limit typing speed and accuracy for extended text input or non-gaming tasks.

Compatibility and Connectivity

The keyboard connects via wired USB. It supports customization through a self-developed web driver accessible in any browser, requiring no installation. Layout and OS compatibility details are unknown but likely focused on Windows-based gaming setups.

Trade-offs

• Limited to 34 keys and one-handed use, making it unsuitable for users needing full keyboard functionality or two-handed typing.
• No wireless option, which may restrict portability or desk setup flexibility.
• Compact size and specialized layout may require an adjustment period for users accustomed to standard keyboards.

Use Cases

Best suited for competitive gamers who prioritize fast input and maximum mouse space. It works well for esports players who benefit from rapid trigger response and macro customization. Less ideal for office work, programming, or general typing due to limited keys and one-handed design.
