Product Description

The Feker Alice60 Rosewood Split is a three-part mechanical keyboard set with a split Alice layout and a separate numeric keypad. It suits users who want a compact, ergonomic design combined with a natural wood aesthetic. This keyboard is good for typists seeking a comfortable, tactile experience with versatile connectivity options. It may appeal less to those needing extensive programmability or a fully wireless setup.

Key Features

Split Alice layout positions keys for ergonomic hand placement, reducing finger stretch during typing.
Separate 17-key numeric pad adds number entry convenience without increasing main keyboard size.
RGB backlighting includes musical rhythmic effects, enhancing visual feedback in low light.
Three connectivity modes: wired USB, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless, allowing flexible device pairing.

Build Quality

Chassis and keycaps are CNC machined from rosewood, providing a natural wood texture and unique appearance.
Gasket-mounted design with four layers of internal padding improves typing comfort by reducing vibrations and noise.
FR4 black core PCB with gold positioning enhances durability and signal stability.

Typing Experience

Equipped with linear Flower switches offering smooth keystrokes with a 30gf actuation force and 3.6mm travel, suitable for users preferring light, consistent feedback.
Precisely tuned stabilizers reduce key rattle on larger keys for a quieter and more stable feel.

Connectivity

Supports wired USB connection for minimal latency and reliable use in stationary setups.
Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless modes provide flexibility for multi-device use, though battery life and latency details are unknown.

Trade-offs

Rosewood construction adds weight, making the keyboard less portable compared to plastic alternatives.
Split layout and separate numeric pad require desk space and may have a learning curve for users accustomed to traditional layouts.
Unknown firmware or keymapping customization limits adaptability for advanced users.
