Product Description

The KBParadise V60 The 2 Sun Crane Wave is a compact mechanical keyboard suited for users who want a small footprint with customizable switch options. It fits well for hobbyists who value hot-swappable switches and per-key RGB lighting, as well as typists and gamers seeking a US ANSI layout with durable keycaps. Its compact size favors desk space savings but may require adjustment for users needing dedicated function or navigation keys.

Hot-swap compatible with MX-based switches, allowing easy switch replacement without soldering.
Per-key RGB backlighting offers customizable lighting effects for visibility and aesthetics.
Three dye sublimated and double shot PBT keycaps provide durability and resistance to wear and shine.
Full USB rollover ensures all simultaneous key presses register accurately, useful for fast typing or gaming.

Build Quality

White color scheme with multi-colored legends and lighting, offering a clean and visually distinct appearance.

Typing Experience

Switch options include Cherry MX Brown, Kailh BOX White, and several Gateron variants, catering to different tactile and linear preferences.
Plate mount switch style provides a firmer key feel compared to PCB-mounted switches.
Compact layout may reduce hand movement but lacks dedicated arrow and function keys, which could affect some workflows.

Compatibility

Supports Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, making it versatile across platforms.
ANSI US QWERTY layout is standard for many users but may not suit those needing other layouts.

Trade-offs

No built-in audio or microphone ports, limiting direct headset connectivity.
Plastic case may feel less sturdy than metal alternatives.
Compact size means some keys are combined or accessed via function layers, which can slow users unfamiliar with the layout.
No wireless connectivity, so it requires a wired USB connection at all times.
