Product Description

The Niz X87 Pro Capacitancia is a compact 87-key electro-capacitive keyboard suited for users who want a tactile, quiet typing experience with flexible connectivity. It fits well for office workers or hobbyists who value smooth keypresses and programmability, and for Mac users needing compatible keycaps. Gamers may also find the gaming version useful due to added stability features.

Key Features

Electro-capacitive switches provide a light, smooth keypress with 35g actuation force, adjustable with an optional 10g spring for firmer feedback.
Programmable keys and macro support allow customization for productivity or gaming workflows.
Two-color PBT keycaps resist oils and wear, maintaining a consistent feel over time.
Includes multimedia keys and a quick lock function for Windows and apps, enhancing control during use.

Typing Experience

The electro-capacitive mechanism combines a rubber dome, slider, and coil spring, delivering a quiet but tactile response. The 35g actuation force is gentle, suitable for extended typing sessions with less finger fatigue. The option to add a 10g spring lets users tailor the resistance. The PBT keycaps add durability and a matte texture that reduces shine and finger slip.

Connectivity

The keyboard supports both USB-C wired and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connections. Wired mode offers stable, low-latency input, while Bluetooth provides flexibility for multi-device use. Unknown battery life for wireless mode.

Compatibility

The layout is a standard 87-key design compatible with Windows and Mac systems. The updated model includes Mac-specific keycaps and switches, making it easier for Mac users to adapt the keyboard without modification. Firmware supports programming and macros, but specific OS compatibility details are unknown.

Trade-offs

No backlighting, which may limit usability in low-light environments.
Heavier weight (over 1kg) reduces portability.
Unknown wireless battery life and latency details.
The gaming version is separate, so this model may lack some gaming-optimized features.
