Product Description

Keykobo Pixel67 suits a hobbyist who wants a compact board with wireless options and room to customize. The assembled version offers a ready-to-use switch and keycap pairing, while the barebone option is for users who want to choose their own. It is less suited to anyone who needs confirmed battery life or detailed sound information before choosing.

Typing feel and customization

Its gasket mount uses spring-loaded pogo pins to add some flex during typing. The included plate and foam components give the build several layers intended to shape its feel, though the resulting sound is not specified. The assembled version uses HMX switches: Pix Stone and Pix Cloud are linear, while Pix Moss is tactile. The tactile switch's operating force is unknown.

Hot-swap support lets you change switches without soldering. The barebone kit is the more flexible choice if you already have preferred switches or keycaps. Assembled keycaps vary by case color, so the look is tied to your color selection.

Build and everyday use

The aluminum case and brass internal weight provide a metal construction. Its compact layout leaves more desk space than a full-size board, but offers fewer dedicated keys. Wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz connections let you choose between a cable and wireless use. Battery life and wireless latency are unknown.

QMK and VIA support allow key remapping, useful for tailoring shortcuts and layers. The vendor does not specify operating-system compatibility.

Trade-offs

Choose this board if compact size, switch swapping, and multiple connection modes matter to you. Consider another option if you need a numpad, confirmed battery details, or measured acoustic information.
