Product Description

The VALKYRIE MAG 75 MAX is a 75% layout keyboard designed for gamers who need low-latency input and precise control. It suits users who want a compact board with versatile wireless and wired connectivity, adjustable magnetic switches, and a long-lasting battery. This keyboard is also a good fit for enthusiasts interested in hot-swappable switches and customizable trigger response. It may be less ideal for those prioritizing silent operation or minimalistic design without extra features.

Key Features

Custom magnetic switches with adjustable trigger points from 0.01mm to 3.5mm allow fine-tuning of key activation for faster or more deliberate inputs.
Supports an 8K polling rate and 32K scan rate, reducing input lag and preventing missed or ghosted keystrokes, which benefits competitive gaming.
AI-driven anti-shake algorithm calibrates each keystroke dynamically, providing consistent typing feedback over time.
Full-key hot-swappable sockets and a hot-swappable multimedia knob enable easy customization without soldering.
Three connectivity modes (wired, 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth) offer flexibility across multiple devices and usage scenarios.
Large 10,000mAh battery supports extended use, with up to 400 hours without RGB lighting and around 50 hours with lighting active.

Typing Experience and Acoustics

Magnetic gasket mounting with five layers of noise-reduction padding reduces vibrations and noise, creating a quieter, more satisfying typing sound.
Five-sided dye-sublimated PBT keycaps provide durable legends and a textured feel.
Switches are rated for 100 million keystrokes, promising long-term durability.

Connectivity and Compatibility

Wired USB-C connection and wireless 2.4GHz modes support ultra-fast 0.125ms response times, suitable for latency-sensitive gaming.
Bluetooth mode adds convenience for casual use but does not support the highest polling rates.
Compatible with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices, broadening its usability.

Trade-offs

The magnetic switches, while adjustable and smooth, may not appeal to users who prefer traditional mechanical switch feel or very quiet keyboards.
The keyboard’s size and additional features add some bulk compared to minimalist 75% boards.
RGB lighting reduces battery life significantly, which may require more frequent charging during heavy use.
