Wooting Two HE

The Wooting Two HE is a full-size mechanical keyboard designed for users who want highly customizable key actuation and smooth, silent keypresses. It suits gamers and typists seeking adjustable input sensitivity and per-key RGB lighting. Its unique magnetic Hall Effect switches offer precise, contactless key detection, reducing key bounce and chatter. The keyboard is best for those who prioritize customization and a quiet typing experience but are fine with using only the proprietary Lekker switches.

Key Features

• Adjustable actuation point from 0.1 to 4.0mm lets users fine-tune key sensitivity for faster or more deliberate inputs.
• Rapid Trigger capability allows repeated key activations without fully releasing the key, beneficial for gaming or fast typing.
• Per-key programmable RGB lighting supports customization of lighting effects and profiles.
• 8MB onboard memory stores up to 4 profiles with 3 programmable layers each, enabling complex key remapping without software.
• Hotswap PCB supports easy switch replacement but only with Lekker Linear60 switches, limiting switch variety.

Build Quality

• ABS plastic case with an aluminum switch plate provides a balance of durability and weight.
• EPDM foam padding reduces internal noise and vibration for a quieter typing experience.
• Double shot PBT keycaps resist wear and maintain legend clarity over time.

Typing Experience

• Lekker Linear60 magnetic Hall Effect switches use magnets and sensors instead of physical contacts, resulting in smooth, silent keypresses without bounce or chatter.
• Linear switch feel with 40g actuation force and 60g bottom out force suits users preferring consistent key travel without tactile bumps.
• OEM profile keycaps provide a familiar shape for most users.

Compatibility

• ANSI layout with US QWERTY logical layout, suitable for standard full-size keyboard users.
• Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• USB-C wired connection ensures stable and universal connectivity.

Trade-offs

• Switch hotswap is limited to Lekker Linear60 switches, reducing options for users who want to try other switch types.
• No wireless connectivity options, so it requires a wired USB-C connection at all times.
• Adjustable actuation point is based on distance traveled rather than actuation location, which may feel different from traditional adjustable switches.
