XVX ICE Pro Linear Switches

XVX ICE Pro is a pre-lubed linear switch suited to users who prefer a consistent press without a tactile bump. Its moderate operating force may work for both everyday typing and gaming, but it is less suitable if you want clear tactile feedback or need a verified quiet switch.

Feel and use

The linear design provides no bump to signal a keypress, so the feel stays consistent through the stroke. Its relatively short travel may appeal if you prefer less key movement, though it will not suit users who like a deeper press. The exact sound profile is unknown, so do not assume it is quiet.

Practical trade-offs

• Factory lubrication may reduce friction, but its quality and effect on smoothness are unknown.
• The 45 gf operating force is a middle-ground choice, rather than an especially light or heavy press.
• The switch uses a five-pin layout. Check that your keyboard supports five-pin switches before choosing it.
• Housing and stem materials, wobble, and long-term sound behavior are unknown.

Decision

Consider it if you want a straightforward linear feel, moderate force, and a pre-lubed switch. Look elsewhere if tactile feedback, a confirmed sound level, or detailed build information is important to your decision.
