Product Description

The Wingtree Nezuko is a linear switch for users who want a pronounced, grainy keystroke rather than a smooth glide or tactile bump. Its textured travel and bright, scratchy sound give each press a distinct character, making it more suited to people who enjoy audible feedback than those seeking a quiet, understated typing experience.

Feel and sound

The switch stays linear, with no tactile bump, but its moulded texture creates noticeable roughness as the stem moves. That deliberate scratchiness is its main draw and its main trade-off: it adds feedback, but may feel distracting if you prefer smooth key travel. Expect a sandy, mid-to-high-pitched sound and a crisp, defined landing at the bottom of the press, not a subdued or rounded sound.

Press and construction

It begins moving after a relatively short lead-in, then keeps a full-depth stroke despite its long-pole design. That gives users who like a longer press room to travel without giving up the switch’s earlier response. A POM stem moves within fibreglass-reinforced PA66 housings. The vendor does not provide information about wobble, factory lubrication, or how the switch responds to modification.

Who should consider it

  • Consider it if you want linear action with texture and audible character.
  • Look elsewhere if you prioritize smoothness, low noise, or a tactile bump.
