Wuque Studio Flux Clacky Linear Magnetic HE

Wuque Studio Flux Clacky Linear Magnetic HE is a light-pressing linear switch for users who prefer a smooth keypress without a tactile bump. It may suit gaming or everyday typing if your keyboard supports magnetic switches and you like low initial resistance. It is less suitable for standard mechanical keyboards or anyone seeking tactile feedback.

Feel and sound

The linear design has no tactile bump, so the press stays consistent rather than signaling a point of actuation through a bump. Its light initial resistance can reduce effort, but may also make unintended presses more likely, depending on your keyboard’s actuation settings. The name suggests a clacky sound, but a specific sound profile is not confirmed.

Construction and upkeep

The polycarbonate top and nylon bottom provide a mix of housing materials, while the stem material is unknown. The switch is factory lubed, which means lubricant is applied before use to reduce friction. The effect of that lubrication and any need for extra tuning are unknown.

Compatibility and trade-offs

This is a plate-mount magnetic switch. It requires a compatible magnetic or Hall-effect keyboard, not a standard mechanical-switch PCB. Its full travel may not appeal to users who prefer a shorter-feeling press. Pre-travel, adjustable actuation range, and measured sound are unknown, so check your keyboard’s support and settings before choosing it.
