The Agar keyboard stands out with its smooth, flowing curves along nearly every edge, creating a cohesive and refined aesthetic. Its uniquely angled slope at the front-right corner and arced cutouts on the sides give it a sleek and slender appearance, making it instantly recognizable and visually striking.

The silicone block mount system uses custom-molded silicone blockers precisely tuned to optimize mounting points and limiting mechanisms. This design offers exceptionally easy installation and removal of the barebones kit, while providing a flexible and comfortable typing feel that enhances the overall typing experience.

There are three PCB variants: the Dual-mode Hotswap PCB supporting ZMK firmware without RGB underglow; the MX Solder version PCB supporting VIA firmware with RGB underglow; and the MX Hotswap PCB also supporting VIA firmware with RGB underglow. Each PCB features a 1.6mm thickness, magnetic pin headers for easy connection, and includes a daughterboard.

The magnetic pin headers have durable gold-plated contacts with strong magnets, ensuring a secure and stable connection between the PCB and daughterboard. This system eliminates the hassle of adjusting cables repeatedly, simplifying assembly and maintenance.

The Agar features a rear copper weight bar that harmonizes beautifully with either the aluminum or polycarbonate case materials. The copper weight not only enhances the keyboard's stability and typing feel but also features an engraved 'Starry Sea' design that adds a poetic and celestial touch.

Yes, the Agar is available in both MX and EC switch variants, allowing users to choose their preferred switch type. The keyboard's design and PCB options support both switch types, giving flexibility to enthusiasts.

The keyboard case supports USB connectors up to 9mm in diameter and 8mm in length. This ensures compatibility with most standard USB cables, but it's recommended to check your cable dimensions to ensure a proper fit.

RGB underglow lighting is supported on the MX solder and MX hotswap PCB versions. The Dual-mode PCB variant does not have RGB underglow but supports caps lock LED indication.
