What makes the Redragon ANTONIUM K745 Pro’s typing experience unique?

The K745 Pro features a gasket-mounted design with multiple layers of sound-dampening materials, providing a soft, cushioned, and remarkably quiet typing feel. This setup minimizes hollow sounds and offers a satisfying, crisp feedback with every keystroke.

Can I use this keyboard with both Windows and Mac computers?

Yes, the ANTONIUM K745 Pro supports both Windows and Mac operating systems. It connects via USB-C, Bluetooth, or 2.4 GHz wireless, making it a versatile choice for multiple devices and setups.

Is the K745 Pro compatible with custom mechanical switches?

Absolutely! Thanks to its upgraded hot-swappable sockets, the keyboard supports nearly all 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. This means you can easily swap out the included Mint Mambo linear switches for your favorites without any soldering.

How does the tri-mode connection work?

The tri-mode connection allows you to switch between USB-C wired, Bluetooth (3.0/5.0), and 2.4 GHz wireless modes. This flexibility lets you connect to a wide range of devices—from desktops to tablets—while ensuring reliable performance whether you’re gaming or working.

Does the keyboard support macros and custom key lighting?

Yes, you can use the dedicated software to program macros, remap keys, and customize the keyboard’s lighting effects. This is ideal for gamers and professionals who want to tailor their keyboard to their workflow or gaming style.

What are the advantages of the Mint Mambo linear switches included?

The Mint Mambo switches are pre-lubed and offer smooth, linear keypresses with a creamy feel. They’re designed for comfort, reduced finger fatigue, and a quieter overall sound profile, making them great for both gaming and extended typing sessions.

How does the keyboard reduce noise during typing?

The K745 Pro is equipped with five layers of sound-dampening materials, including various foams and silicone pads. This multi-layer approach absorbs vibrations and significantly reduces both keypress and case noise, resulting in a quieter, more refined typing experience.

Is the keyboard full-size, and does it support anti-ghosting?

Yes, it’s a full-size keyboard with 108 keys, including extra shortcut keys for added convenience. The anti-ghosting feature ensures that every keypress is accurately registered, even when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously.

Can I adjust the typing angle?

Definitely! The K745 Pro includes two-stage adjustable feet, allowing you to choose the most comfortable typing angle and reduce wrist strain during long sessions.

Are the keycaps customizable?

The keyboard comes with two-color mixed keycaps, which not only provide a unique look but also allow for some customization. If you want to further personalize your keyboard, the standard layout means you can swap out keycaps with most aftermarket sets.

Product Description

The Redragon ANTONIUM K745 Pro is a full-size mechanical keyboard suited for users who want versatile connectivity and a quieter, cushioned typing experience. It fits well for office workers or gamers who prefer linear switches with reduced noise and flexible wireless or wired options. Its gasket-mounted design and sound dampening layers focus on minimizing typing noise while maintaining a smooth keypress feel.

Key Features

Tri-mode connectivity with USB-C wired, Bluetooth 3.0/5.0, and 2.4 GHz wireless, allowing seamless switching between devices or use cases.
Custom Mint Mambo linear switches provide a smooth, cushioned keystroke with less resistance and softer feedback, suitable for users who dislike tactile bumps or clicky sounds.
Full-size layout with 108 keys, including 4 extra shortcut keys, supports multiple simultaneous key presses for gaming and productivity.
Software support enables custom macros, key remapping, and lighting effects, enhancing workflow and gaming customization.

Build Quality and Typing Experience

Gasket-mounted design uses silicone gaskets to reduce rigid noise and add flexibility, resulting in a quieter and softer typing feel compared to traditional screw-mounted keyboards.
Multiple layers of foam and silicone pads dampen hollow sounds, producing cleaner acoustics and less keyboard noise during use.
Two-stage adjustable feet improve ergonomics by allowing wrist angle adjustment for comfort during long typing sessions.
Mixed color keycaps add visual variety and some DIY customization appeal.

Connectivity

Offers wired USB-C connection for stable, low-latency use, ideal for gaming or work requiring consistent response.
Bluetooth 3.0 and 5.0 support allow pairing with multiple devices wirelessly, though Bluetooth latency and battery life are unknown.
2.4 GHz wireless mode provides an alternative low-latency wireless connection, useful if Bluetooth is unavailable or unstable.

Trade-offs

Linear switches may not suit users who prefer tactile or clicky feedback for typing accuracy or preference.
Battery life and wireless latency details are not provided, which may be important for wireless users.
The keyboard’s full-size layout is less compact, which could limit desk space or portability compared to smaller form factors.
