Product Description

The Ducky Shiba Says One 2 is a full-size mechanical keyboard designed for users who want a distinctive aesthetic combined with reliable typing performance. It suits typists and gamers who prefer a standard ANSI layout with RGB lighting and Cherry MX switches. The keyboard is not hot-swappable, so it is better for users who do not plan to frequently change switches. Its unique keycap design and adjustable stance appeal to those who value both form and function.

Key Features

Detachable USB-C cable allows easy transport and cable replacement.
RGB LED backlighting provides customizable illumination for low-light environments.
Side-printed Mandarin phonetic symbols add bilingual usability without obscuring legends.
Includes 12 unique Shiba Says R4 profile keycaps and 2 collectible stickers for personalization.
Two-step kickstand offers adjustable typing angles for ergonomic comfort.

Build Quality

Plastic top and bottom case keep the keyboard lightweight but may feel less solid than metal alternatives.
Plate-mounted Cherry MX switches ensure stable keypresses and consistent feedback.
PBT dye-sublimated keycaps resist shine and fading over time.

Typing Experience

Available with various Cherry MX switches, including tactile (Brown), clicky (Blue), linear (Red, Silver), and silent options, catering to different typing preferences.
North-facing switch orientation affects RGB lighting direction and keycap compatibility.
MDA profile keycaps provide a sculpted, uniform key shape that some users find comfortable for extended typing.

Compatibility

ANSI layout with US QWERTY logical layout suits most English-language users.
Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems via USB-C connection.

Trade-offs

No hot-swappable switches limit customization for users who want to experiment with different switch types.
Plastic construction may not offer the durability or premium feel of metal cases.
Lacks built-in audio or microphone ports, which may be inconvenient for some setups.
