Product Description

The DURGOD Hi Keys is a compact wireless mechanical keyboard with an 84-key layout, suited for users who want a portable setup with dual wireless options. It fits well for office typists and casual users who value quiet or tactile feedback and need compatibility across multiple devices. Its design and switch options offer a balance between comfort and durability, but it may not meet the needs of users requiring full-size layouts or advanced customization.

Key Features

Dual-mode wireless connectivity via 2.4GHz and Bluetooth allows flexible use across Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
Iridium-plated knob enables quick switching between wireless modes without interrupting workflow.
White ambient backlighting with preset effects provides subtle illumination without complex RGB customization.
Adjustable keyboard height supports ergonomic positioning.
Up to 360 hours of battery life on Bluetooth and over 200 hours on 2.4GHz supports extended use without frequent charging.

Typing Experience

Choice between Turbo Silent Red linear switches and Turbo Brown tactile switches caters to preferences for quieter or more tactile feedback.
Switch durability ranges from 50 to 80 million keystrokes, suitable for long-term use.
Square-shaped keycaps with rounded tops aid finger placement and improve typing comfort.
Full-key rollover prevents input conflicts during fast typing.

Compatibility and Layout

Compact 84-key layout offers a smaller footprint than full-size or standard tenkeyless keyboards, saving desk space.
Automatic system detection adjusts key functions for different operating systems.
Supports major OS platforms but firmware customization options are unknown.

Trade-offs

Limited backlight customization may not satisfy users seeking advanced RGB effects.
Compact layout omits dedicated number pad and some navigation keys, which may reduce efficiency for users needing those keys.
Unknown details on case material and mounting style limit assessment of build robustness.
