Product Description

The LUMINKEY Nova Mini Ultra is a compact 12-key mechanical keyboard designed for users who want a highly customizable, portable board with wireless and wired connectivity. It suits hobbyists who prefer building their own setup, as it comes barebones without switches, keycaps, or stabilizers. Its small size and multiple connection options make it good for on-the-go use or limited desk space, while programmability supports advanced customization.

Supports wired USB-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless connections, offering flexibility for different environments.
Hotswap sockets accept both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, allowing easy switch replacement without soldering.
Includes two plate options (1.6mm FR4 and 1.5mm PP) to influence typing feel and sound.
Programmable via QMK and VIA firmware, enabling custom layouts and macros.
South-facing RGB lighting improves compatibility with keycap profiles and reduces light bleed.
Spacebar doubles as a function key, expanding functionality despite the small key count.

Build Quality

Constructed with a 6063 aluminum case and gasket mount design, which can soften typing acoustics and vibrations.
Includes a copper external weight to add stability and heft despite the small form factor.
Compatible with PCB mount stabilizers, but stabilizers must be sourced separately.

Connectivity and Power

Offers three connection modes: wired USB-C for low latency, Bluetooth for convenience, and 2.4 GHz wireless for stable connection without cables.
Equipped with a 500 mAh rechargeable battery, but exact battery life is unknown.
Power switch is discreetly located under the leftmost key in the middle row.
