Product Description

The RX Storm Out of Stock RX870 is a tenkeyless (TKL) mechanical keyboard designed for users who want a compact layout without sacrificing essential keys. It suits office workers and casual typists looking for a straightforward, reliable keyboard with a standard ANSI layout. This board is less ideal for gamers or users needing wireless connectivity or advanced customization features.

Key Features

TKL 80% layout saves desk space while retaining function keys and arrow keys, supporting productivity and general use.
ANSI layout compatibility ensures easy replacement of keycaps and familiarity for most users in the United States and similar markets.
Mechanical switches provide tactile feedback and durability, enhancing typing accuracy and comfort over membrane keyboards.

Build Quality

Construction details are limited, but the keyboard likely uses standard materials common in this segment, balancing durability and weight.
Available in multiple color options, including anodized silver and black, allowing some personalization of appearance.

Typing Experience

Switch type is unspecified, so feel and sound depend on the installed mechanical switches, which may vary by model or user preference.
Customization options such as hot-swappable switches or sound dampening are unknown, which may limit user tuning.

Connectivity

Wired connection only, suitable for stable, low-latency use at a desk but not for mobile or wireless setups.

Trade-offs

No wireless support reduces flexibility for users who prefer cable-free setups.
Lack of detailed customization or firmware options may not satisfy hobbyists seeking programmable layouts or macros.
Limited information on build materials and switch options means users should verify these aspects before purchase.
