Installation Guide

To install the Awekeys 10U Metal Spacebar, first ensure your keyboard supports a 7u spacebar and stabilizers. Use a keycap puller to gently remove the existing 7u spacebar and the two 1.5u Alt keycaps. Carefully insert the provided black switch through your plate and PCB to avoid bending the pins. Attach the 10u metal spacebar to the installed switch and your default 7u stabilizers. Adjust for balance, and you're ready to enjoy your upgraded keyboard.

Compatibility and Limitations

This spacebar is designed for use with premium custom mechanical keyboards from brands like SINGAKBD's Kohaku, TGR, Geonworks W1-AT, Matrixlabs, OWlab, Qwertykeys, Wuque Studio, and Novelkeys. However, it is not compatible with keyboards featuring a 6.25u layout, such as those from Keychron, Logitech, Wooting, ROG, HyperX, Reddragon, Higround, Drop, and most Amazon keyboards.
