Product Description

The Cidoo V75 Plus is a 75% mechanical keyboard kit designed for enthusiasts who enjoy building and customizing their own keyboard. It suits users who want flexible connectivity options and a quieter typing experience with sound dampening. Its VIA programmability and customizable LCD screen appeal to those who want tailored layouts and real-time information. It is less ideal for users seeking a fully assembled keyboard or backlighting.

Key Features

DIY assembly kit lets you customize every component, from stabilizers to case.
Supports three connection modes: wired via USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4GHz wireless for device flexibility.
VIA software compatibility allows easy remapping and macro programming without complex tools.
1.14-inch LCD screen displays battery status, profiles, or custom images, enhancing workflow on Windows systems.
Hotswappable sockets support up to 5-pin switches, enabling switch changes without soldering.

Build Quality and Typing Experience

Aluminum case and gasket-mounted design provide a cushioned, slightly bouncy typing feel, reducing finger fatigue.
Sound-dampening foams minimize noise without sacrificing key responsiveness, suitable for quieter environments.
Screw-in stabilizers improve key stability and reduce rattle on larger keys.

Connectivity and Battery

Triple connectivity modes allow seamless switching between wired and wireless setups for multitasking.
3000mAh battery supports extended wireless use, though exact battery life is unknown.

Trade-offs

Comes unassembled, requiring time and some skill to build, which may not suit all users.
No backlighting limits visibility in low-light conditions and reduces aesthetic customization.
LCD customization is only available on Windows, restricting full use of this feature on other systems.
